The spiritual shape of defenders of the Homeland in days of the Great Patriotic War is characterized by publicistic articles of our fellow countryman, military correspondent Baubek Bulkishev.

On the legendary earth of Saryarka on October 20, 1916 in a family of the poor cattle-farmer the son named Baubek derivative of the Kazakh words «Бауыберикболсын», i.e. "let was born he will always be healthy and will long live on light".

Baubek early lost parents. In 1931 he is admitted to school of a factory apprenticeship at copper-smelting plant in the city of Karsakpay, Zhezkazgan area. In the next years, living in Alma-Ata, studies on courses of young writers. Baubek dreamed to become a writer. It had a big talent of the writer. In 22 years he became a journalist, worked in the pioneer newspaper. Then there was a Great Patriotic War: army, front life. Baubek Bulkishev was the young soldier. Gabit Musrepov told: "Splashes are necessary for inquisitive mind – the Great Patriotic War perfected its feather. The talent cannot be silent, when in trouble – the people …". In short intervals between fights Baubek wrote letters, remarkable publicistic letters which enjoyed extraordinary popularity at soldiers and in the back. In cruel 1942 Baubek Bulkishev is actively published in Komosomol Truth and Socialistic Kazakhstan newspapers. He writes in two languages – Russian and Kazakh.

"I want to live?.", "Life belongs to us", "The letter to the son of the East", "Thoughts over the aged card" … - here not the complete list of publicistic articles of Baubek Bulkishev those terrible years. In each of them the confidence in a victory sounded. To Baubek in tens letters responses came to its publications in "Komsomol Truth". The central thought of all these letters was: "You told everything that lay at us on heart …"

The writer Anuar Alimzhanov got acquainted with Baubek Bulkyshev's letters at student's age "These letters excited me - they were as an eternal song to beauty, good and love …". Life was sacred concept for Baubek. In the story "About Life and about Death" he wrote so: "As speak at us in east countries, the person – the guest who came to the world. Stayed for a while a little – if you please, do not disturb, go back …" But after all the person not simply comes to the world and not simply leaves: it leaves behind the thoughts which are given rise by it, it leaves heritage. It comes to the world the Person and the Person leaves …"

In one of poems it wrote: "Stars over Saryarka clearly, that day when they are subdued is also near!" What prophetical words! As this person far saw! What larger poet and the writer it could become. But Baubek gave the life, the talent to Business of rescue of the Homeland from fascist danger.

Baubek Bulkishev did not return from the front. It was lost on February 3, 1944.

Baubek Bulkishev … In its native village remember and honor the fellow countryman. In the school museum it is possible to read in one of albums lovingly the words of the war reporter output by a children's hand: "Younger brothers! You will be the happiest young people what on the earth were known by history. You will not know that such war".
