MUSTAFIN GABIDEN 

MUSTAFIN GABIDEN (1902-85), writer, public figure, corresponding member. AN KAZSSR (1958). National writer KAZSSR (1984). I worked in mines of Karaganda. It started being printed since 1927. The first  stories «Ер Шойыя» it is published in 1929. The novel "Life or Death" (1941) — one of the first works of the Kazakh prose, devoted to working class. The novel "Shiganak" (1945, Russian translation of 1947) — about rice grower Shiganak Bersiyev. The story "Millionaire" (1948) tells about work of the Kazakh collective farmers. Heroes of the novel "Karaganda" (1952, the State award of KAZSSR of Abay Kunanbayev, 1953) — miners of Karaganda. Novel "After a Storm" (1959) narrates about socialist transformations in the Kazakh village. In 1963 the 1st part of the autobiographical novel "Eyewitness" (Russian 1965 g. Lane) is published. G. Mustafin's works are transferred to many languages of the world. Chairman of the board of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan (1953-57), 1st secretary of board of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan (1962-66). The Central Committee of Communist Party of Kazakhstan since 1956 (the candidate since 1954). Deputy of the Supreme Council of the USSR of the 6th convocation, deputy of the Supreme Council of KAZSSR of the 4-5, 8-10 convocations. It is awarded by Lenin's 2 awards, other awards and medals. In honor of G. Mustafin in area his name are called high school No. 83 of Karaganda, the settlement of Tokarevka is renamed into the item of G. Mustafin.

MUSREPOV GABIT MAKHMUTOVICH

MUSREPOV GABIT MAKHMUTOVICH (1902-85), writer, public figure, academician of AN KAZSSR (1958), Hero of Socialist Work (1974), national writer KAZSSR (1985). Studied on workers' faculty, in Omsk agricultural institute (1926-27) . It started being printed since 1925 (story «Едіге») in the «Еңбекші қазақ» newspaper). In 1928-38 editor-in-chief of Kazakhstan publishing house, editor of the newspaper «Социалистік Қазақстан», «Қазақ адебиеті», manager of art sector The People's Commissariat of Education of KAZSSR, assistant manager news department of The Kazakhstan Edge Committee, head of department of political education of the Central Committee of Communist Party of Kazakhstan. In 1938-55 at creative work, the member of presidium of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan. In 1956-57 the editor-in-chief of the Macaw magazine — "Bumblebee", in 1957-62 of the 1st secretary of board of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan. In 1974-75 chairman of the Supreme Council of KAZSSR. The secretary of board of the Union of writers of the USSR (with 1959). The first story "In the Abyss" (1928) — about events of civil war of 1918-20. Stories "Kos-Shalkar" (1928)  "Neighbors from the blue house" (1929), "Tunnel" (1930), "Summer lightning" (1935), the story "First steps" (1932) show class fight in the Kazakh aul. In 1934 I published a cycle of short stories "Courage" of mother". The novel "The Awakened Edge" (1953, 1984) is devoted to process of formation of the Kazakh worker in pre-revolutionary to Karaganda. In 1967 I published the story "Once and for the Rest of Life". G. Musrepov's dramaturgic works — the libretto of the opera "Kyz-Zhibek" (1934), "Amangeldy's" play (1936), "Goats Korpesh — the Bayan Sula" (1939), "The tragedy of the poet" (1958, the 1st edition under the name "Akhan-sere and Aktokty", 1942) delegate of the 22nd congress of CPSU of the 1st, 10-15th congresses of Communist Party of Kazakhstan. Deputy of the Supreme Council of the USSR of the 5th convocation, Supreme Council of KAZSSR of the 6-11th convocations. The winner of the State award of KAZSSR (1970), the winner of an award of Sh. Valikhanov (1976). It is awarded by Lenin's 3 awards, other awards and medals. In 1943 G. Musrepov was one of organizers aytys’s of akyns in Karaganda.

 

MUSABEKOV SAMAT

MUSABEKOV SAMAT 

MUSABEKOV SAMAT (river of 1924), akyn, composer. Participant of the Great Patriotic War. S. Musabekov began to compose and sing songs in the years of war. Constant participant regional, regional, republican songs of akyns. Its works were published in collections «Енбек куйі» (1972), «Шуғыла» (1977), in regional, regional newspapers. Songs «Қазақпын», «Қарабулақ», «Қайран акем» are written down on a plate.

MUSA MYRZA SHORMANULY

MUSA MYRZA SHORMANULY (1818-84), biy, educator, ethnographer, colonel of imperial army. There lived in Niyaz vicinities of the lake Karakol present Osakarov the area. Musa along with Kazakh and Russian languages knew French. Bayanaul Russians nicknamed it "Big mister", and village Kazakhs "Myrza Musa".

In 1841 it is elected the assessor of the Bayanaulsky district, in 1953 becomes the sultan of the district. 15 years I was in this position before elimination by tsar Alexander ІІ sultanate.

In 1853 I became cornet, in 1854 an army Cossack captain, it was awarded by a gold medal and Sacred Anna's tape. In 1855 I participated in Nikolay's funeral І, in introduction ceremony on Alexander's throne ІІ, I was entitled the major and Sacred Andrey's tape.

In 1863 the colonel, in 1866 is awarded hordes. St.  Stanislav. On the means I constructed a mosque, madrasah in Bayanaul. Together with the younger brother Iza allocated funds for building of mosques in Pavlodar, Akmola, St. Petersburg. Since the childhood there was in good relations with Chokan Valikhanov and his friends A.K.Geynsom, G. N. Potanin. Was engaged in collecting folklore.

In 1865 with its participation in Omsk the Kazakh school preparing volost office workers opened. Was engaged in research work. The Russian scientists and officials consulted to it on stories and ethnography of the Kazakh people. I published the Art. about traditions and customs, economy of the Kazakh people in newspapers and magazines ("Semipalatinsk regional sheets", Omsk, No. 32-37, 1871 of; "Agriculture and forestry", 1883, 1422, No. 1; "Notes of the West Siberian department of Imperial Russian geographical society", Omsk, 1906, in subitem XXX ІІ). I died on December 26, 1884 in Omsk.

 

In 1885 (on July 18-23) there was Musa's commemoration in which 10 thousand people participated. They took place in 100 white yurtas, killed 300 rams and 200 horses. M.Zh.Kopeev wrote to "Zhoktau" concerning Musa's death, and also cycles of stories about Musa and his father Shorman. About Musa wrote in memoirs, Geyns memoirs, G. Potanin, D.Putintsev. Musa's business was continued by son Saduakas who supported the intellectuals, collected a scientific literary heritage of the father and transferred to the St. Petersburg publishing house.
