Sculpture and Art

The creative unions of architects, artists, designers provide to the cities of area sociocultural habitat of the person, monumental art, the modern design; most of art directors work in a monumental sculpture. The most considerable works are monuments "Appak Bayzhanov" (U. V. Hummel), to Nurken Abdirov (A. P. Bilyk and U. V. Hummel), "Miner's glory" (A. P. Bilyk), a monument "Eternal flame" in honor of the soldiers Karaganda inhabitants, who were lost in days of the Great Patriotic War (Zh. Moldabayev, B. Koyshybekov);

Monuments of the last 10 anniversary — Bukhar Zhyrau (M. Mansurov), to the lost Afghans "The interrupted flight" (N. Novopoltsev, Zh. Altayev), monumental and decorative composition «Суйінші» in honor of the 10 anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the square at Ethnopark (Zh. Intensively the monumental and decorative art develops. Due to the development of a new master plan of building of Karaganda there is an urgent need for the modern decorating of streets, the areas, the public and cultural centers. In monumental art practically all artists who executed reliefs, colourful mosaics, lists and a panel, ceramic jewelry in exteriors and interiors of public constructions work. Thus masters seek for creation of architectural and art complexes, aestheticization of a surrounding medium, and in this monumental and plastic ensemble the artist, the sculptor and the architect act as equal coauthors.

TO BUKETOV E. A., TO THE ACADEMICIAN MONUMENT

it is placed in 2006 into the square before a main entrance in the Karaganda state. un-t of Akkad. E. A. Buketov. Authors of a monument — pr. Union of artists of RK, gentleman of the award "Dostyk" A. Bilyk and чл. Union of architects, winner Gos. awards of KAZSSR S. Mordvintsev. Buketov's figure costs on a pedestal from red granite, it leans on chair where are scientific treatises. The figure is cast in bronze. Выс. figures of 4,32 m. The pedestal is made of red granite. General high monument of 6,48 m. The decision on construction of a monument to E. Buketov was accepted the President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev and Statement commission on monuments and monuments of the republic in connection with the 80 anniversary of the outstanding scientist. The construction of a monument to E. A. Buketov promotes increase spiritual educational and intellectual and cultural level of citizens; to education of younger generation in the spirit of the Kazakhstan patriotism.

Bust to V. I. Yazev

The bust to the hero of a sots.trud, the first builder of Balkhash copper-smelting combine, the builder of Karaganda V. I. Yazev – the sculptor was succeeded to transfer character of the hero.

Bust to G. Mustafin

The bust to Gabiden Mustafin, the outstanding Kazakh writer, is executed to the 100 anniversary from the date of its birth. The bust is executed in a realistic manner, sculptors tried to report the moment of thoughts of the writer.

Bust Zhambyl

Zhambyl's bust is executed in a classical manner, taking into account material – concrete. The image of the great akyn differs in transfer of grandeur and an internal energy.

K.I. Satpayev's bust

The monument is solemnly open in honor of 100-year anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh geologist, the first Academician of the Soviet East, the founder and the president of Republican Academy of Sciences.

K.I. Satpayev – the organizer of geological science and the production development of the copper-ore fields of Big Zhezkazgan which played a huge role in increase by defense of ability of the Homeland in days of the Great Patriotic War.

The bust is made of bronze, the pedestal is made a marble tile. Height of a monument is 2,7 m, a bust – 1,0 m. The monument matters the considerable historical and cultural and is the logical beginning of st. of name K.I. Satpayev

Bust to N. V. Gogol

To the bust to the great Russian writer N. V. Gogol – a classical example of monumental art.

Monument to A.S. Pushkin

The monument to A.S. Pushkin the Russian sculptor in the late fifties of the XX century, production option, is restored in 2006 and the transfer to bronze dated for a Year of A.S. Pushkin in Kazakhstan is made.

The author is unknown.

Monument to Appak Bayzhanov

The monument to the pioneer of the Karaganda coal Appak Bayzhanov (1824-1887) is solemnly open in August, 1999 on the square in front of the regional local history museum.

Monument Bukhar Zhyrau

Bukhar Zhyrau  akyn, zhyrau, prominent representative Kazakh Chief adviser Abylay of the khan. Many works fall into to a genre to a tolga. The poetic heritage was investigated by Zh. Kopeev, G. Potanin, Sh. Ualikhanov, M. Auezov, S. Seyfullin, etc.

The image of the great akyn differs in transfer of grandeur and an internal energy.

Monument to G. Fogeler

The monument to the outstanding German artist anti-fascist Heinrich Fogeler is solemnly open in June, 1999 before the building of the German cultural center.

At opening of a monument there were members of the German society of fans of painting of G. Fogeler from Vorpsvede and the artist's relatives.

Documentary it is impossible to establish a burial place, in the village of Belagash (Horoshevskoye) and the village of Korneevka, on rural cemeteries, places of alleged rest of G. Fogeler are noted. In the village of Korneevka the tombstone with an inscription, in the village of Belagash – a cross is established.

Monument to N. Abdirov

It is established in 1958 on N. Abdirov  Avenue in Karaganda. Authors: A. P. Bilyk, U. W. Hummel, architect L. E. Vorobyov.

The common height of a monument is 9 m. The sculpture is cast from cast iron, the pedestal is made of marble. The monument recreates portrait shape of the Hero of the Soviet Union N. Abdirov, opens his character, at the same time represents the collective shape of the hero. Uplifted on the high, narrowed up pedestal, the semi-figure of the pilot attack plane strengthens dynamics of the common composition, draws in detail prospectus prospect, enriches perception of an architectural complex of the area.

N. Abdirov's monument gives to the city a beautiful look, and also plays large role in patriotic education.

Monument to Tattimbet

It is placed in 1984 into a central square at the building of museum of local lore in the village of Egindybulak (the architect P. Malkov, the sculptor Zh. Moldabayev).

It is executed from a simulated stone of gray color. A dominant is the vertical form of a monument directed up (high monument of 9 m). Monumentalism of an image is emphasized with the falling clothes folds on the high relief image of a figure.

It is established in honor of Tattimbet.

Memorial obelisk of Soldiers Karkaralinsk inhabitants

"Fighting glory", it is established in 1970 in park of Karkaralinsk. Sculptor A. P. Bilyk. Consists of an obelisk in the form of a bayonet (high 8 m) and the figure of the Kazakh female in a traditional national dress who mournfully squeezed hands before herself standing at the Eternal flame. Stylobate is revetted with a wild stone, on its front party 2 memorial boards (concrete, a marble crumb) with inscriptions in the Kazakh and Russian languages: "Eternal glory to the fellow countrymen Karkaralinsk inhabitants who fell in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." they are divided by the star made of cast iron and the Eternal flame.

Sculptural decorative composition "Kobyz"

The decorative composition represents the stylized musical instrument "Kobyz" as a symbol of soul of the Kazakh people, his love to the native land.

The monument size height of 2 m, is made of bronze, a pedestal gray granite.

Sculptural and decorative composition of Suyunshy

The monumental and decorative composition consists of a stele, horse figured composition of "Suyunshy", zodiac signs put on a pedestal, forming a circle and the framing a platform at the stele basis, in the center of a platform the granite curbstone on which the sign – the Center of Earth is established is located.

Independence stele

The stele of Independence N-45m, is revetted with red granite, the Eagle sitting on the Sphere, the Sun crowns a stele, all symbols of independence on four corners of a stele are located "Tulpary" which wings are located on 4 parties of a stele, between wings 2 medallions, on a back facade eaves with the quote are located. Below on perimeter – a laurel wreath (bronze) of the quote from the speech of the president N. A. Nazarbayev. The stele is built in honor of the 60 anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War.

The eagle – wingspan of 4,5 m of plasticity, is locked.

Eternal flame

The monument in honor of the soldiers Karaganda inhabitants who were lost in Conducted. To patriotic war. It is built in 1976-78 in Victory park. Architect N. Koyshibekov, sculptor Zh. K. Moldabayev. Consists of the horizontal stele revetted with red granite on which there is a high relief from copper with the image of semi-figures of soldiers — the Russian and the Kazakh. In the center of a monument a bronze star. Before a stele there is a podium from red granite in which capsules with the earth of hero towns are immured. The sloping face sides revetted with gray granite cross pig-iron cast figures of "1941-1945". In 1980 to a group of authors for construction of a monument the rank of the winner of award LCUY of Kazakhstan is given.

MONUMENT OF UNITY AND UNITY OF THE PEOPLE OF KAZAKHSTAN

The memorial monument symbolizes aspiration of the people of Kazakhstan to independence and unity. It is established in 1992 on Aiyyrtau's slopes, near the village of Ulytau on the high pass filled manually about a memorable stone of Aiyyrtau. The monument represents four parts of the world. On a top (high 30 m) the sun-shanyraka settled down four figures of argymak. The square on which the monument is located, sculptures of stone balbal surround.
