POPOV YURY GRIGORYEVICH

PRIESTS YURY GRIGORYEVICH (river of 1937), regional specialist, candidate technical science. I ended KARPTI, postgraduate study of mining institute of Skochich. I worked at the Karaganda research coal institute, at research and design institute, I was the scientific secretary. Since 1962 goes in for study of local lore. I wrote articles and books about today's and yesterday's Saryarka. Author of works: "Karkaralinsk patterns" (1976), "Karkaralinsk finds" (1978), "Appointment from Sara Arch" (1980), "Karkaralinsk" (1981), "the Karkaralinsk historical and geographical sketch" (1984), "Them are remembered Sara Arch" (1989), "By the road on Kounrad" (in a co-authorship from N. Rusakova, 2002). Honourable citizen of the Karkaralinsk area (2005).
