NIYAZ BATYR BARKYULY

NIYAZ BATYR BARKYULY (about 1689-1775), one of commanders of khan Abylay, the participant of battles at Sarysu (1728), Anarakay (1729). According to the indication of Abylay of the khan it was appointed the governor of Tashkent. I governed more than 20 years. It is buried in Turkestan. In the settlement to Atas of the Zhanaarkin area the street is called his name.
