NAZARBAYEVA SARA ALPYSOVNA

NAZARBAYEVA SARA ALPYSOVNA (Kunakayev), was born on January 9, 1941 in the village Kzyl-Zhar of the Karaganda Region. In 1962 I married N.A.Nazarbayev, has three daughters (Dariga, 1963, Dinara, 1967, Alija, 1980), three grandsons and the granddaughter. I graduated from plant technical college at the Karaganda iron and steel works, the economist, honourable professor KAZSU (2000). After the termination of technical college I worked at the Karaganda iron and steel works, ON "Karagandacoal".

Since February, 1992 the president of the children's charity foundation "Doggy" which is engaged in active work on guardianship over various child care facilities, the organization of treatment of children with heavy forms of diseases in clinics of Kazakhstan and abroad. The fund pays special attention to the help to children from places of ecological disaster (a zone of Aral and the Semipalatinsk nuclear range).

Since July, 1994 the president of fund "SOS — the Children's villages of Kazakhstan" (branch of the Austrian fund "Kinderdorf International").

Since March, 1999 chairman of the board of trustees of Demography charity foundation. President of Federation of rhythmic gymnastics of RK. The winner of an award of WHO is awarded the order «Достык»  of the 1st degree (2001), of I.Dogramachi and international award "Unity".
