MOLDAGULOVA ALIYA NURMUKHAMEDOVNA

MOLDAGULOVA ALIYA NURMUKHAMEDOVNA (1925-44), sniper, corporal, Hero of the Soviet Union (1944, posthumously). It was brought up in orphanage. In 1942 the volunteer I entered the Soviet Army, it was sent to school of snipers. Since 1943 the participant of the Great Patriotic War, I was at war as a part of the 3rd company of the 4th battalion of the 54th shooting crew of the 2nd Baltic front. In fights differed fearlessness and heroism. Heroic fighting exploit I made at a capture of a strong point of fascists — near Novosokolnika's railway station (The Pskov Region), I promoted successful approach of a battalion, in this fight it was fatally wounded. In memory of A.Moldagulova in Karaganda the street and sports boarding school No. 3 is called.
