MAMETOVA MANSHUK  ZHIYENGALIYEVNA

MAMETOVA MANSHUK  ZHIYENGALIYEVNA (1922-43), staff sergeant, Hero of the Soviet Union (1944, posthumously). In 1942 I left the volunteer on the front. I participated in fights as a part of the 100th shooting crew of the 21st shooting division, differed fearlessness and bravery. 16 .10.1943 in fight under Nevel the commander of machine-gun calculation M. Mametova made a heroic fighting exploit — reflected attack of fascists. Workers of Kazakhstan organized voluntary fund raising on a tank column of a name of M. Mametova who participated in battles as a part of the 1st Belarusian front. In Karaganda in honor of M. Mametova the street is called.
