KURMANGAZY SAGYRBAEV

KURMANGAZY SAGYRBAEV (1818, on a gravestone of 1806-1879), the Kazakh national composer-performer, a dombra player, the classic of the Kazakh folk instrumental music. Since childhood I mastered a creative heritage signer Uzak, Bayzhuma, Balamaysan, Sokyr Eszhan. Life and creativity I devoted to fight against social injustice, using language of art as means of fight. The participant of anti-feudal revolt under the leadership of I.Taymanov (1836-37)  about Kurmangazy's which feats I put song "Кішкентай". Many songs of Kurmangazy were perceived in the people as an appeal to resistance, to fight for freedom, including autobiographical songs «Қайран шешем», «Кісен ашқан», etc. Feudal rich the top and imperial administration pursued signer, him repeatedly arrested. Coming back from Irkutsk prison to native places through Saryarka and the foothills of Ala Tau, Kurmangazy became closely acquainted with the nature of the native land, with life of nomads-sharua. Under Kurmangazy's this impression "Saryarka" created songs, "Ala Tau" which has become popular in people, transferring feeling of inexhaustible force of the people, beauty of the Kazakh boundless steppes, majesty of mountains. Kurmangaza reached tops of the professional. performing art in legendary songs «Балбырауын», «Демалыс», «Жігер», «Қуаныш», «Лаушкен», etc. In honor of Kurmangazy in Karaganda the street is called.
