KUNAEV DINMUHAMED AKHMEDOVICH

KUNAEV DINMUHAMED AKHMEDOVICH (1912-93), visible public and statesman, scientist, academician of AN of Kazakhstan (1952), Doctor of Engineering (1969), three times Hero of Socialist Work (1972, 1976, 1982). I graduated from the Moscow institute of non-ferrous metals and gold (1936) . In 1942-86 vice-chairman of Council of ministers of KAZSSR, chairman of the board Ministrov KAZSSR, 1st secretary of the Central Committee of Communist Party of Kazakhstan. D.A.Kunayev, holding senior positions, I made a huge contribution to economic, material, cultural development of the republic, to improvement of social living conditions of the people. As the large mining engineer, entered into production use of a rational method on development of the Kounrad field, development by open way of Zhezdin mountain fields. Being the president ON KAZSSR, scientific and organizational work I directed on staffing of primary branches of production. I investigated and introduced effective methods of an breaking of ore on pits of Kazakhstan. Work. activity of the beginnings in Kounrada in 1935 where passed work practice. Having graduated with honors from institute, I received qualification of the mining engineer, it was directed on Pribalkhashbuild where worked as the operator of the drilling rig, the master, the shift engineer, the supervising foreman, the director of Kounrad mine of Balkhash copper-smelting combine. During the Great Patriotic War worked as the chief engineer and the head of the technical department of combine "Altaypolimetall", the director of the Ridder mine, one of the large enterprises of the zinc-lead industry — Leninogorsk mine administration. High level at D.A.Kunayev reached mining production of the republic, were created new productions. regions of Kazakhstan, were under construction large settlements. In days of its management Pavlodar Ekibastuz fuel and energy complex, the Karaganda GRES-2, Bukhtarminsky hydroelectric power station in East Kazakhstan, the Pavlodar tractor plant, started working. other industrial enterprises, were mastered Mangistau oil fields, has development the railroads, construction, extraction and production of the titan, magnesium, synthetic stuffing. rubber, fast rates various branches of electrical equipment, mechanical engineering, chemistry developed. D.A.Kunayev gave special attention to development of the Kerbulaksky plain, construction of the Kapchagaysky reservoir, the big Almaty channel. I undertook effective measures on preservation of the developed territorial borders of the republic, its integrity. . And. Kunayev returned to structure of Kazakhstan cotton-growing areas in the south, earlier given to Uzbekistan, opposed creation of the German autonomy in Kazakhstan, Mangistau Turkmenistanu's transfer. For years of its management the capital of the republic of Almaty turned into advanced industrial, cultural and scientific center, the Republic Palace, Kazgugrad, the improving center "Arasan", sport center of Medeo and were constructed. Other D.A.Kunayev the author more than 100 scientific works, books "Өтті дәурен осылай" (on kazakh language), "About my time" (on a Russian language). In 1992 "Kunayev's international fund" is created.

Under the decree of the President of RK of N.A.Nazarbayev of February 24. 1994 the name D.A.Kunayev is appropriated to Institute of mining, JSC Leninogorsk Polymetal (in the East Kazakhstan region), to a number of schools and country streets, university in Almaty. In 2002 in Almaty D.A.Kunayev's house museum is open (on M. Tumbayev St.), the Award of a name of academician D. A.Kunayev is appointed. In 2003 on the house where there lived D.A.Kunayev, the memorial board is established. In Shymkent the monument to D.A.Kunayev is erected
