KUANYSHPAEV KALIBEK

KUANYSHPAEV KALIBEK (1893-1968), actor, one of founders of the Kazakh national professional theater, national actor of the USSR (1959), winner of the State award USSR (1952) . In 1922-25. K.Kuanyshpayev entered into troupe of amateur performance of the actors speaking at Koyandy fair. In 1927 I made a speech at an ethnographic concert in Moscow. In 1928-64 the actor of the Kazakh drama theater of M. O. Auezov. Among the best theatrical roles: Nysan Abyz, Taneka, Abay ("Enlik Kebek", "Night peals", "Abay" M. O. Auezov), Baluan ("Tragedy of the poet" G. M. Musrepov), Governor of a town (N. V. Gogol's "Auditor"), Brabantio, Baptist ("Othello" and "Taming obstinate" W.Shakespeare). Since 1937 acted in at film: Baybol ("Amangeldy"), Abay ("Songs of Abay"), Bergaliyev ("A gold horn"), Chingiz ("His time will come"). Was engaged in pedagogical activity. Author of short plays, humoresques (collections: "Edge", 1936; "Shanshara", 1962). Deputy of the Supreme Council of the USSR of the 2-4th convocations. It is awarded the order Lenin (twice), the Labour Red Banner, "the Honour Sign" and medals. In honor of K.Kuanyshpayev in Karaganda and Karkaraly streets, in Karkaraly on the house where there lived K.Kuanyshpayev are called, the memorial board is established.
