DOSKEY ALIMBAEV

DOSKEY ALIMBAEV (1850-1946) national poet, honored worker of arts of KAZSSR (1939). In youthful years studied the main receptions of improvisation and writing, having apprehended musical culture of popular poets songbooks Akhan Sere, Zhayau Musa, Baluan Sholaka, Birzhan of fat. Composed songs in which derided a feudal nobility and clergy. Main subjects of creativity: Homeland and construction of Karaganda. In the 30th there were first publications of its works in the local newspaper, in the collection of national signers (song with Ibray Sandybayuly then entered in «Айтыс», 1 t.  1965). In days of the Great Patriotic War wrote a cycle of the songs calling for protection of the Homeland, one of organizers regional songs of signers. The works «Журегім» ("My heart"), «Ел байлығы» ("Richness of the Homeland"), "Қарағанды" ("Karaganda"), "Қазақстан" ("Kazakhstan") entered into the poetic collection, are translated into Russian. "Honour Sign" (1940) and medals is awarded the order. In honor of Doskey in Karaganda the street, in the Bukharzhyrau area the settlement is called.
