BORANBAEV KABYL

BORANBAEV KABYL (1915-78), poet, member of the Union of writers of the USSR. Graduated from the Peter and Paul pedagogical technical school (1936), Institute of Abay (1949). Participant of the Great Patriotic War. Worked as the deputy editor of the Pioner magazine, the teacher, the director at schools. Boranbayev Kabyl's first verses were published in the 30th in the newspaper «Қарағанды пролетариаты». The first collection of verses of «Дәурен» was published in 1949. The collection of the verses, published in the subsequent: "Ант" (1950), "Dostar groups" (1955), «Дән дария» (1977). K.Boranbayev's many works are devoted to young readers. K.Boranbayev translated N. Nekrasov, V. Mayakovsky, M. Isakovsky, K.Simonov, G. Gulyam's verses, the story "Asterisk" of I.Vasilenko into the Kazakh language. In honor of K.Boranbayev the school in Zhanakal's native village was called.
