BIRZHAN KOZHAGULULY

BIRZHAN (Birzhan sal) KOZHAGULULY (1834-97) composer, singer, poet. From one of the first songs — "сал" Birzhan sal mentions by Birzhan all parties of human life — sincere experiences, social injustice. Its songs are filled with special lyricism. In memory of the people there was «Айтбай», «Ақтентек», «Алтын балдақ», «Бірлен», «Ғашығым», «Мәті-Дәулен», «Ләйлім-Шырақ», «Көлбай-Жанбай», «Жамбас сипар», «Теміртас», «Қарасу есік алды». Birzhan sal 44 songs are known. Its works executed G. Aytbayev, K.Bayzhanov, A.Kashaubayev, K.Babakov, K.Lekerov, Z.Elebekov, M. Erzhanov. About B. Birzhan's literary and musical creativity of fat a number of researches is written. On a basis of aytysBirzhan of fat and Sara, national actor of the USSR composer of M. Tulebayev wrote the opera "Birzhan-Sar" (K.Zhumaliyev's libretto), become classics of the Kazakh opera art. Akkad. A.K.Zhubanov devoted Birzhan to fat. chapter of the book «Қазақ композиторларының өмірі мен творчествосы» (1942).
