BAYSETOVA KULYASH

BAYSETOVA KULYASH (Gulbakhram) of ZHASYNOVNA (1912-57), singer (a lyrics-coloratura soprano), one of founders of the Kazakh opera art, national actress of the USSR (1936), winner of the State award USSR (1948, 1949). Graduated from Almaty pedagogical technical school (1928). In 1930 it was accepted in troupe of the Kazakh dramatic theater. Played roles Pulish (B. Maylin's "Fight"), Zaure ("Zaure" K. Bayseitov and A.Shanin), Enlik ("Enlik-Kebek" M. O. Auezov). Since 1943 soloist of the Kazakh musical theater. K.Bayseitova played roles Zhibek, Hadishy, Akzhunus (in operas "Kyz-Zhibek", "Zhalbyr" and "Er Targyn" E. Brusilovsky), Sara ("Birzhan and Sara" M. Tulebayeva), Azhar ("Abay" A.Zhubanov and L.Hamidi), Tatyana ("Eugene Onegin" P. I. Tchaikovsky), Butterfly stroke (J "Chio-Chio-san". Puccini), etc. In years Conducted. Patriotic war as a part of concert crew left on a front line. The deputy of the 1-3rd convocations of the Supreme Council of KAZSSR, is awarded the order Lenin. The street in Karaganda is called K.Bayseitov's name.
