BAYZHANOV KALI

BAYZHANOV KALI (1877-1966), singer, national actor KAZSSR (1945)  one of founders of the Kazakh chorus of radio committee of Karaganda. Worked as the miner in Ekibastuz, the bricklayer in Zheltau. From 12 years started studying song and musical art at the known national akyn, composer Zharylgapberdy who acquainted it with a creative heritage of national singers of Birzhan, Akhan-sere, Zhayau Musa. K.Bayzhanov's repertoire included songs «Шама», «Топай кек», «Ардак» Zharylgapberdy; «Жанбота» Биржана, «Кок жендет» Akhan sere, «Хаулау», «Құлбайға» Zhayau Musa, etc. Mastery of K.Bayzhanov was highly appreciated by composer A.Zhubanov, ethnographer A.Zatayevich, etc. In 1924. K.Bayzhanov participated in creative competition of singers in Semipalatinsk, since 1926 worked at the Kazakh drama theater. In 1927 "Ethno world" participated in a concert, appeared on stage of the Big theater before delegates 4 All-Union congresses of Councils. The participant of 1 decade of the Kazakh literature and art in Moscow (1936). On the house, where K.Bayzhanov lived (Bukhar-zhyrau Avenue, 74), the memorial board is established.
